A Word
From Our President
Howdy Club,
First I want to start off and say thanks for the vote of confidence in selecting me to serve as the next President of LCARC. We owe a great debt of gratitude to the previous leadership (W5HGJ, NS5N, WA9JG, KJ5AXO, KD5JHW, W5FKO, & K5DLD) for the excellent path that they have put us on. I am excited to serve as the next President and carry that torch a little further down the road and light our path into the future.
My goals for our club for the coming year is to continue the growth of our club, continue the education portions of our training, further provide community service, and have fun doing all of it. I have thoroughly enjoyed ham radio the short time I have been in the hobby but I recognize I still have a ton to learn, that’s where some of our Elmers come in. You might be asked to step up and teach from your abundance of knowledge.
There will be a recurring theme over the next year, I am excited to serve this club and that’s exactly what I intend to do, SERVE the members of this amazing club. More simply put, “How may I help?”. How can I help the new members, how can I help the established members, how can I help get events organized, how can I help people get educated on ham radio, etc.
Again thank you and here’s to a great 2026!
